Technical requirements

The Genomicus browser is currently optimised for Firefox and Safari, and can be used with Internet Explorer provided the Google Chrome Frame plugin is installed. More specifically:

1. Firefox: The browser has been tested on Firefox (version 3 and above) on Linux, Macintosh & Windows.
2. Safari: The browser has been tested on Safari for Macintosh version 3.1.2 and above.
3. Chrome: The browser has been tested on Chrome for Macintosh version and above.
4. Internet Explorer. The Google Chrome Frame plugin needs to be installed.

Known bugs

The following is a list of bugs that have been identified but not yet corrected.

• On Safari and Chrome, tooltips do not appear when the mouse hovers over a gene, in both AlignView and PhyloView.
